Narrative: HaLeigh Cummings was last seen at her home in Satsuma, FL, during the early hours of February 10, 2009. Her disappearance triggered a nationwide search and remains an open investigation. HaLeigh was under the care of her father’s then-girlfriend, Misty Croslin, when she vanished. Despite extensive efforts, HaLeigh is still one of Florida’s unsolved AMBER Alerts. At the time of her disappearance, HaLeigh Cummings was described as having blonde hair, brown eyes, and a 4-inch round birthmark on her lower left back, as well as a smaller birthmark near her left ear.
Over the years, her family and law enforcement have continued to seek answers, with Crime Stoppers offering a $15,000 reward. Recently released age-progressed images by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children show how HaLeigh may appear now, at 21.
