Zelig Williams

Zelig Williams, a 28-year-old Broadway dancer known for his performances in MJ The Musical and Hamilton, has been missing since October 3, 2024, in Columbia, South Carolina. He was last seen leaving his family’s home that morning, and his disappearance is out of character, according to loved ones. His car was later found near Congaree National Park, but there were no signs of an accident.
Zelig, who recently moved back to Columbia after performing in New York, has been giving back to his local dance community as a teacher. He is also in need of prescribed medication, adding to the urgency of locating him.
Actor Hugh Jackman, who worked with Zelig on his 2019 tour The Man. The Music. The Show., has publicly appealed for help, posting, “ZELIG we love you and are praying for your safe return,” on social media. Fellow dancers and friends, including Samantha Butts and Mishay Petronelli, have also expressed their concern and are actively sharing his story, describing Zelig as a talented and giving person who has touched many lives.
Southern Strut Dance Company, where Zelig danced before moving to New York, has also released a statement, saying, “We are devastated and want him to know we love him and want him to come home to us.
